Weather:

  • All sessions are weather dependant due to outdoor facilities. Lessons will be rescheduled in the event of extreme weather events. Management will attempt to advise in advance of any postponements prior to, or during the session, however it is the responsibility of the attendee to enquire about the session going ahead.

 

Safety:

  • All participants in these equine activities of any kind, at the trainers’ property or at clinic events understand they do so at their own risk.

  • Champion Performance Training Pty Ltd reserve the right to cancel any session in the event that safety of livestock or participants is endangered. If a session is cancelled, no refunds will be made, however subscribers booked for that session will have preference for open positions in upcoming sessions.

  • All youth and beginner riders will be required to wear an approved and correctly fitted helmet.

  • Riding Apparel - all participants must wear jeans and boots. It is advised participants wear a long sleeve shirt and a hat for sun protection.  Sunscreen and water will be provided on site.

  • This is a working training facility, the requirements and guidelines will be explained to all visitors. These are for your safety and are non-negotiable. Failure to comply by any visitor may see the session terminated.

Risks:

  • Participants are reminded that in any activities arranged by the Provider, certain risks or dangers may occur which could include:

    • Physical, bodily or psychological injury or death.

    • Physical exertion to which I am not accustomed.

    • Failure of equipment or use of inadequate equipment.

    • There may be no or inadequate facilities for treatment or transport to treatment if I am injured.

    • The conditions in which the activities are conducted may vary without warning.

  • Potentially participants may cause injury to other persons and/or other persons may cause injury to them. This may include:

    • Injury or death due to the negligence, breach of contract or breach of statutory duty or guarantee of the provider.

    • Activities are being undertaken for the purposes of recreation, enjoyment or leisure, and involve a significant degree of risk of physical harm.

    • Activities may be undertaken with one or more other persons as part of a group and the Provider is not liable for the actions of other participants in the group activity.

Refunds:

  • No refund will be available if cancelled within 24 hours of the session, except in the case of rain events, or emergencies on a case-by-case basis.

 

Sessions:

  • Sessions will start and end at advertised times, however attendees are free to make their own arrangements regarding punctuality and finishing early.

 

  • At various times group training sessions will not be available due to having to travel for cutting shows and other commitments. Champion Performance Training Pty Ltd will endeavour to provide at least ten group training per month to enable subscribers to attend alternative sessions.

 

  • A maximum of ten riders will be allowed to attend each group training session, and preference will be given subscribers to the program for bookings. Unallocated positions will be open to be filled by non-subscribers from 72 hours out from each group training session.

 

  • Tuesday and Thursday night group training sessions will be open to all subscribers on a first in best dressed basis, and will include phases of all levels of training depending upon the percentage makeup of attendees.

 

Bronze Subscribers:

  • The Saturday evening Bronze session bookings will be open only to beginner riders, until 72 hours out from the session, after which time bookings will be open to all. The beginner sessions are strictly aimed at working on horsemanship and general riding skills in preparation for the rider to advance to the intermediate level of training.

 

Silver Subscribers:

  • Saturday morning Silver session will be open only to intermediate level riders, until 72 hours out from the session, after which time bookings will be open to all. Beginner riders will need to pass the silver qualifying standard prior to moving up to the intermediate level. Silver level riders will be working on cattle, with the aim of becoming proficient cattle handlers, whether in the campdraft, the cowhorse, or the cutting arena.

 

Gold Subscribers:

  • The Friday night Gold session bookings will be open only to advanced level riders, until 72 hours out from the session, after which time bookings will be open to all. Intermediate level riders will need to pass the Gold level qualifying standard prior to advancing to the advanced level. The aim of the Gold level is to develop these subscribers as highly competitive cutters.

 

  • A weekly zoom coaching session will be held to provide assistance to subscribers that are unable to make training sessions that week. The aim of this meeting is provide training tips and answer questions about any training level.

 

Fees:

  • Champion Performance Training Pty Ltd reserve the right to periodically increase fees charged for individual services.
